ding...ding...

...Slater won his 3rd Bell yesterday joining the club of 3x plus winners of the Bells Beach contest including Sunny Garcia, Mark Richards and Michael Peterson. There is still a long way to go, but with Slater winning the first 2 contests of the year, it looks like the East Coast is gonna take back the WCT title from the Australians greasy mitts and into the hands of America, F*** Yeah!

Watched the Semi's and the final online. Fun stuff. That was a great air Slater pulled to seal it. (and that's coming from an old guy who feels boards are supposed to stay on the water! :P )

Amazing - the guy paddles to a whole other break while in second place - catches a wave that has not much to offer - does the best air of the day and wins the contest.

And Slates took out his buddy AI for good measure. Bede is dangerous for sure, and I thought he'd get the score on his last wave at the buzzer but it puttered out. East Coast repazentin'!

Those damned Aussies with their crystal shores and vegimite sandwidges couldn't hang on our dirty East shore swell with a 10'2 paddle board. Filthy Wankers!
