Surfing the Pier

Just because you can't surf the pier during the day doesn't mean they can't (try).

Curtain Call for the Cardiff Kook???

Its been almost 2 years since the Cardiff Kook narrowly escaped death at the tip-toes of Jimmy Slade's pop-out, but is it's luck running out? The Kook has continued to terrorize the lineups of the surfy, sleepy beach town of Cardiff-by-the-Sea (well, sleepy until yesterday...)

Has the Cardiff Kook met it's match? Will the Cardiff Kook escape? Is this the last stand for our trans-gender crusader of kookdom? One hint: the worst is yet to come!!

Evil Twins

Here is a Lost Blunt and it's east coast twin the Ricky Carrol Hemi. Which one is evil?... hard to say. What is easy to figure out is which one is from California.

Like so many twins, these two are not exactly the same. With its Fuller nose and epoxy, this one is definitely from the mighty right coast. Maybe that's what the "RC" stands for.

Less volume and more of a pulled in nose means this is a California groveler. Still needs a little more of what we call waves and they call $h!t to work like it should.

...Which is evil? I guess that depends on how you feel about California.

New way to wrap your leash

One of our customers was kind enough to show us a new way to wrap up your leash, courtesy of one of our *rentals. The one drawback is that it only works on single fins or 2+1 set ups.

*I know that it is fun to point out that the rental is a pop-out Bic and we may be perceived as hypocrites for renting them, but know that I have already pointed that out so you won't have to worry about it.
