...and the fins moved slightly forward and the tail has been winged (and even signed by Mayhem) making the quads just as quick on rail as the old skinny tail twins. These boards make my thing move.
*And by thing I mean bank account...and by move I mean decrease.

Wish I had a board that I could go vertical like Antione on. Instead Im stuck with a twin fin tuflite that I have enough trouble simply catching waves on; much less doing a Rock Star energy drink endorsed round house cutback to the brizzain biatch. Im gangster.
Obviously then, you need the 2008 "wickedest" model. Doesn't matter if your mom bought you the 2007, because last Februrary you thought...and were told, "If I only had the new model, I could go vert and as quick rail to rail as Antione".. well it didn't work out for ya, (go figgure), but now, here is your chance to finally rip... the pulled in nose and the wings... how can you not rip???? But, fear not, when it doesn't pan out for you this year either, they will come up with a different marketing tool next year...channels maybe, re-widen the nose, double wings drawn out an inch more, a little reverse V thru the midsection tapering into the tail... maybe mini turbo tunnel fins.... it will be the ticket.

Hey grumpy local. You got it all wrong man. No board is better than any other board. Your magic board isnt mine and so on. The point is they change and work differently for each rider. A little tweak here and there does not make it a new must have, just a new thing to try. That is why people like Ian and Anthony go through dozens of boards a year, yet still want to try new stuff. There is no perfect or better board.

Wait? You mean this blog is not for serious discussion of the current trends and progess of the surf industry and it's culture? I was under the impression that this was a forum for deep introspective dialouge regarding those deeply complex issues.
Actually, I believe a healthy discussion of a serious nature will help move the surf community forward in ways never seen. This penchant for mockery and depracation of others is a waste of precious moments in which we can illuminate such timely topics. Such as "magic boards", longboarders vs. shortboarders, Why people from Ohio are so magically drawn to this place. You know the things that truly need attention.
Mockery and sarcasm have no place on this blog, much less the internet.

I spoke to a girl from Ohio in the bar a few weeks ago and asked her (nicely) why so many buckeyes come here. I added (nicely) that it was almost like they had just finished a new highway connecting Cincy straight up with Charleston. She said they did, Its called I-77 to I-26. We didnt speak much after that.
