Well, the swell held up for us some this morning. A nice break from our typical Folly summer. Nothing epic, but fun (and really crowded). If you couldn't make it out this morning try again tomorrow morning.
(It will probably be gone tomorrow afternoon. )

Saturday was a bit smaller but clean and uncrowded all day. Waist to occasional chest. I surfed the middle section at the Wash Out for three hours solo before a couple of surfers showed up. Early Sunday AM was clean but the wind got on it by 10:30ish and was crowded.
"I surfed the washout solo for three hours." Bad ass since this is where all the waves are right? Wrong. You and all the other kooks out there need to take your sponge boards and go boggie board at the pier. Make sure you take you socks and sandals off Joker before you get in the water.
Why so serious anonymous? And I'm not sure what your point is anyway.
Just an observation... Why is it that there are surfers that think they own every wave and feel that it is there job to disrespect other surfers that are stoked about surfing. Such negativity is not what our passion is about. It seemw to be more prevalent in the 20 something age group. If someone got some good waves all to themselves you should be glad that on occasion the Wash Out isn't over crowded. To all you "cool" surfer dudes that think you rip, I got news for ya...you're not the only good wave rider out there. Don't be an ass, spread the good vibes instead, it goes much further.
Spelling error (there should be their) (seemw should be seems)sorry, typing too fast.
