Cold Surf

Yesterday afternoon a few hours after the tide switched and the wind turned off shore a few waves came through.

Little did the guy in front on the longboard know, but some even barreled.

Just in time...

...for the upcoming summer flat spells.

I know you love shreddan' the Folly gnar-gnar on your Lost Rocket, now you can shred the Folly sidewalks on your Lost Rocket skateboard. Tourist ankles will shudder with terror.

One thing about skating in the summer is the oppressive heat. You will probably get thirsty. Well, once again, Lost has got you covered. Each Rocket skateboard comes with a built-in bottle opener because, as everyone knows, skateboarding drunk is more fun.

The Plank

It seems like for ...Lost, 2010 is the year of the groveler board. With The Motivator, The Blunt, two new types of rockets (The Rock-up and The Squash-it) and now The Plank; Lost must have had us poor east coast surfers in mind when coming up with the 2010 line up.

The Plank is the newest of these weak wave specific boards. Designed to replace the longboard Matt Biolos would ride on small days at Trestles and inspired by the retro "Mini Simmons" The Plank is designed to glide. With a flat bottom contour, flat rocker, and wide tail this board is made to catch even the weakest of knee high waves. As an update to the retro version which acted as The Plank's muse, it has a bump diamond tail with a bit of a flip out of the back as well as a quad set up to add some stability to the tail rather then an unpredictable twin fin. Right now we can only get them through custom orders. The dimensions on this one are 6'0" x 22 x 2 1/2".
