...since there are still a few people who don't surf, you can't get all of your Christmas shopping done at McKevlin's. This is where our some of our loyal customers come in. Global Awakening was started a couple of years ago by surfing couple Michael and Maren McClintock. It's a local business that provides access to products from around the globe that are handmade and environmentally responsible. Take a second to check out their website here and click on "about us" to learn more about their do-gooding. Their storefront on King Street will be open until January, or you can order on the website. Either way you'll be spending money locally, which is good.
Starting tomorrow, Drew will be posting lots of great inexpensive gift ideas for those who do surf. Just another way McKevlin's Surf Shop wishes you "A Happy Festivus!"

1971 world champ?
oh ,i get it..
and just when we thought the blog couldn't get more exciting... shopping specials.
i don,t know about you... but when you have to keep a baseball card book full of coupons... any advertised surf deals, blogged or not, help my poor ass out.
Grumpy, shut up or put up. Your supposed to make the blog exciting and you clearly haven't been doing your part.
It's "you're" - and grumpy must be too grumpy to add anything witty.
Thanks. Too bad Donut Punchers magazine isn't looking for an editor.
Donut Punchers is looking for an editor??? Cool! I just lost my job at Muffin Munchers. Thanks for the tip!
Hope you're not getting any waves!!!
Oh and Happy Holidays to you and your woman.
I'll have you know I brought the pink Country SurfBoards rhino chaser pictured a few weeks ago and I brought another beauty into the shop last Sunday but I guess Drew didn't find it blog worthy.
Spelling police on a surf blog is really really, like, lame.
