Way Easier then Glassing

 Linseed oil is just about as expensive as resin, but smells much better. Kind of like tea.

 All you have to do is brush it on...

...then let it dry.

Drawbacks
  • It takes almost two days to dry. Especially this time of year.
  • It only works on wooden planks made out of Paulownia

add a little turpentine to the mix to speed up the drying
