Here's a gimmick for you...

...courtesy of Tom Wegener and our friends at Global Surf Industries.

I guess now Tom can finally buy that creation mansion he wanted and get off of that crap plantation.

I'm sure this guy will be super busy filling all the orders that will be pouring in. Glad some people have the spare time to put into reality a bad idea... Whatever!

So on a side note the new issue of "lines" was a complete and total waste of a read. Nothing but stupid pointless blabber. Could I please have my 17 and a half minutes back?

So it's a legitimate surf mag now! Move over Surfing Magazine.

I just got my copy of Anonymous Magazine and as usual it's a friggin masterpiece. Nice cover article about how to feel entitled to complain about nothing.

Are you going to carry those in the shop? Or can I order one through the shop?

Those ancient Hawaiian customs and wave riding techniques really are such "bad ideas". Why don't they just re-open the shaping bay from back then that made pintail thrusters?

The ancient Hawaiians would have given their left nut to ride a modern longboard. I'd give anyone else's left nut to ride a board made hundreds of years from today. Dude, where's my flying car?

to the douche bag in the video,

nice fake shaping bay, really adds to the credibility of your product. thanks for calling regular surfing 1 dimensional in comparison to your new groundbreaking multidimensional models, doesn't make you look like a dim wit at all. please just stop.

Hey Mark take your head out of your ass and get an edumecation. The DB in the video not only shapes better than you and many others (in addition to being innovative at it) he also rips on a variety of boards.

Wouldn't you cash out if you could? Then just spend time with family, surf, and shape a few custom boards.

Dane Reynolds is test pilot for the Tuna... can't be all that bad... right...

Thats the main issue here is to cash out or not. Anybody who makes boards - I would hope feels a little sinking inside when they give their hard earned shape over to a pop out company. I know the reason is money and that drives everything but I would like to think that they feel that sick feeling when someone pops out their handmade shape. But who knows. I respect this guy and hope he feels the same about seeing this new board with leash plug and two sizes, 5'3" or 6'2" wow it makes me sick.

you guys take this stuff WAY too seriously. It's a free country ,do what you want . I'm not saying you shouldn't have an opinion ,but words like sick and douche bag ,and funniest of all ,cashed out because of what ? Some guy is trying to sell a shape.
We've ALL cashed out my friend. Some call it making a living . If a legendary shaper with a name and no income wants to sell his shapes to joe Blow and you don't like it there's not too much you can do is there?
Except do what I do ,don't buy a popout . I don't buy them because I like to buy the best , but if someone wants to make them somewhere you have to just live with it.

Tom is the biggest hypocrite sell out of em all.
