Waves A'Comin

It seems like there may be some surf on the way Tuesday through the end of the week. A perfect time to try the Washout's new location over on the west end of the island.

I'm a big fan of the new Washout location, just past the County park on the back side of the island. But, even better on the far south side of Edisto is a secret spot, well worth the drive.

Awesome! Thanks for the tip.

The Washout is over rated! Sure it may be a half foot bigger, but it's always overcrowded, you risk a $20 parking ticket (unless you park at the far end and leg it) the ticket machines almost never work. And, is it just me or does it always close out as soon as it gets over waist high. If it gets over head high on a real swell it just turns into long lines of white water. What's the hype all about? I'm staying at my ultra secret, non more secret "secret spot", so if you see me there, it's not the real spot, cause I'm keeping it uber secret.

Three letters.... IOP!

Hype it up!

Seems like anymore, when a set or peak comes through, all 20 people within a 50 yards radius come scratching for the wave as if their life or career depended on them catching every wave.

Learn to share people.

You probably should come to IOP.... the core douche'ness has not invaded yet... plenty of room and i think the wave is better anyway... free parking and free beer..

The town of IOP just installed 100,000 parking meters all over the place, including people's driveways (they were not happy.) AND, they repealed the law that allowed free beer.

They also apparently outlawed rideable surf.

Thats classic "outlawed rideable surf"
