... according to their laminate. I thought these came from Florida. Anyway, we finally got our first shipment of Coil boards and they look great and cost about $100 less then a lot of other boards.
All I know about these boards secretive construction is that they are a stringer-less blank of some special foam that is then vacuumed bagged, I think, with epoxy and some kind of carbon fiber type material weaved in a 45 degree angle grid to provide strength and flex. Check out their website here (not much more info, but more pictures).
The end product is an extremely durable and light board that should ride like the first day you got it months/ years later.
